Student pottery

We unloaded another kiln load of pottery made by our students.  It's always fun for us to see what was made and how students have taken what they learn from Mark and made something uniquely their own.

I love the texture mat that is used to make this square tray and long rectangular tray.  When the glaze pulls away from the design, it gives some really cool effects

We always have a lot of bowls, but each one is unique in their own way

The stripes in the above blue bowl are made by glazing the piece then adding stripes of wax to resist the next coat of glaze.

The tree tray above has gotten a lot of attention from everyone - what a great idea!
